RPL is cheering for everyone in our Community making MOVES! Whether little ones or plans for Big MOVES, we Celebrate You!

As RPL reimagines its own New MOVES, we assure you our MOVES are made with you in mind.   So, What MOVES are we making?!

• ‘Noon MOVES’ (Family Movies every third Saturday of the Month);

• MOVE Your Body! And Jump for Joy Double-Dutching with Coach Bukun;

• Make Piano Essentials MOVES With Lynette;

• NY Metro Black Pilots of America MOVES closer to getting you up in the Air with their WINGS of CHANGE Series starting Oct. 18th ;

• The Global Writer’s Roundtable on the MOVE –Featuring ‘Authors to Know’ and RPL Digital Goodies!  

• Flash Mob (that’s you) to reenact ‘Thriller MOVES’ for our annual Trunk-Or-Treat Festivities on Oct. 31st’;

With so many MOVES to make, you have got to give one a try! Look for the Asterisks next to programs for more MOVES*!! 

 

So, let’s talk about it… Censorship! Or better Yet, Don’t You Say What I Don’t Like!! The Roosevelt Public Library will always remain committed to ensuring everyone’s access to lifelong learning. We know in this climate of push-back on All Things Black and Brown that we must protect and exercise our rights as viable participants in every aspect of Freedom, especially the Freedom to Read and Write! 

As a Move to make, early Voting starts here at the Roosevelt Public Library October 25th to November 2nd. I Dare all of us to make this upcoming election one that proves We still know… and do… Fight The Power!
