Unshakeable Sacrifice: Endured 3 attempts on his life and 69 arrests while organizing voter registration and direct action against segregation in the Deep South.
Educational Trailblazer: Founder and Director of Ujamaa School, the nation’s oldest operating independent African-centered school (58+ years).
Global Leader: Honored as an authentic Chief in Ghana and personally invited to Tanzania by President Julius Nyerere.
