Mystic Seaport

Mystic Seaport is the nation’s leading maritime museum. Founded in 1929 to gather and preserve the rapidly disappearing artifacts of America’s seafaring past, the Museum has grown to become a national center for research and education with the mission to “inspire an enduring connection to the American maritime experience.”  It is located in Mystic, CT.

Nassau County Firefighters Museum & Education Center

An interactive facility where you can experience first-hand the proud tradition of firefighting in our communities.  Located on Charles Lindbergh Blvd. in East Garden City, NY.

Nassau County Museum of Art

The Nassau County Museum of Art is a cultural resource that brings to Nassau County a range of visual experiences and quality art education programs with particular emphasis on 19th, 20th, and 21st century art. New York Transit Museum

Displays historical artifacts of the New York City subway, bus, commuter rail, and bridge and tunnel systems under the administration of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority.  Located at the corner of Boerum Place and Schermerhorn Street in downtown Brooklyn, NY

Old Bethpage Village Restoration

Old Bethpage Village Restoration is a 209-acre living history museum which allows visitors to step back in time and experience life on Long Island in the 19th century.  The village opened in 1970 and contains dozens of historic structures that were saved from demolition by Nassau County.  It is located in Old Bethpage, NY.
